School Announcements Studio Closed for President's Weekend DCNJ will be closed this Friday, February 17, through Tuesday, February 21 for Presidents' Weekend. The studio re-opens on Wednesday Morning February 22 Inclement Weather In the case of bad weather, the studio will be closed when the Bernardsville schools are closed. Please listen to 101.5 FM radio and listen for Somerset Hills School System (Bernards High School). You can check online at www.nj1015.com website as well. If snow has started during the day, afternoon or evening,or on Saturday - CHECK THIS WEBSITE FOR STUDIO CLOSING or call the studio at 908.229.4204 one hour before your class for late notice closing. If you do not see the program you are interested in please advise us and we will try to accomodate. Class Attire Please wear the approved attire to class. Only new students are allowed not to be in the correct attire. If you have questions speak to France. Hip Hop / Modern Dancers: The Sneakers Plus Store is open - order DCNJ pants now at Sneakers Plus. Hair Requirements Hair must be put up and off of face. Discovery thru Beg 2 may wear pony tails, pigtails or braids. Beginner 3 and above should have their hair in a bun. Everyone, even short hair, should have their bangs off of their face with bobby pins. In addition hair should be pulled back behind your ears again with bobby pins. Our teachers will be sending you out of class to fix your hair. If you have questions on how to put up your hair ask another dancer or a mom. You must learn what is the requirement for your hair, and take care of it prior to class or you will be sent home with a note. If you have more than 2 notices you will be sent out of class.
